JSPC Group is proud to provide ongoing P6 planning support to Siemens as part of its work on the long-term rail infrastructure and maintenance framework for Iarnród Éireann.

The programme supports the modernisation of Ireland’s signalling infrastructure through the rollout of the Trackguard Westlock computer-based interlocking system. This technology is designed to improve reliability, performance and efficiency across the network—but programmes of this scale only succeed when technical delivery is supported by clear, controlled and realistic planning.

Our role is to help translate complex delivery requirements into an integrated programme that teams can understand, manage and use. Effective P6 planning provides visibility of activities, interfaces, milestones, dependencies and emerging risks. It also creates the evidence needed for informed decisions and credible forecasting.

For JSPC, project controls are never separated from the realities of rail delivery. A programme must reflect access constraints, resource availability, engineering dependencies and the practical sequence of work on site. Our experience across HS2, the Midland Main Line, Manchester Metrolink and major Irish rail commissions enables us to challenge assumptions and build schedules around how work will genuinely be delivered.

In simple terms: less guesswork, more certainty and better planning.

We are delighted to support Siemens and to contribute to a programme helping create a more reliable and future-ready railway for Ireland. It is exactly the kind of complex, safety-critical environment where JSPC adds value.

From P6 planning and project controls to access strategy, possession planning and delivery support, JSPC Group helps rail teams turn demanding scopes into controlled and deliverable programmes.
